When we got tired from sitting and watching, our boat stopped for a break and we could eat and take a walk ashore. A big lunch was put out for us on deck and we dug in with hungry fingers. We had some spicy fresh fish together with crispy papadums, pineapple curry and vegetables.
It took a few moments until I realized that one of the dishes was not “vegetables”. It was green chilies. A whole pot full of green chilies, which I had without any reservation scooped into my hungry mouth.
