Finally I found myself at a real Taiwanese beach. The sand was not entirely trash free but it was warm and soft under my feet. The sound of waves and the smell of salty water – this was happiness.
There was only one other person swimming but that didn’t stop us from taking a long bath. The sea felt warm and much different from the cold Swedish sea water. After drying in the sun we watched the sunset and ate dinner at a restaurant nearby.
How to get there: Take a taxi and ask for 黃金海攤.
How to get back to town: Save the number to the taxi company and try to make them understand where you are.
